Hon Chong - Hon Do
Hon Chong was classified as a National landscape in 1999. It is located in the North of Nha Trang City, along Tran Phu and Phạm Văn Dong Street. Hon Chong includes many layers of small and large natural rocks overlapping one another, which extend from the hill of Cu Lao village to the sea. There are rocks under the water, and rocks floating on the sea’s surface depending on the tide. In some places, the rocks are laid in overlapping layers. Particularly, among the small rocks layers, there is a large flat and square rock near the shore. Above this rock is a larger one shaped like a beast with a stalking posture. The surface of this rock has many indentations, which is quite similar to a giant hand print on the cliff. These rocks are called Hon Chong. The Hon Vo rock group is not far from Hon Chong. Hon Vo also has many overlapping layers of rocks like Hon Chong, but they are closer, and arranged into more diversified shapes.

The Nha Trang Bay Club was inaugurated in the Hon Chong landscape area on the 30th of  March, 2005. Since then, the club has become the place to organize the regular arts and cultural activities, not only at the provincial level, but at the regional and national level. The 3 arched gate of the club is located on the end of the road that ascends from the foothill to the top. There is a large yard with many ancient plants behind the gate. At the 2 sides of the yard are the left and the right buildings. The Hon Chong club house was built in the ancient imperial style of Hue city. The talented and creative architects have used materials that date back to over 100 years, from 20 different ancient houses. Up to 70% of the materials of the club house remain intact, with visible traces on each decorative pattern on the trusses, beams, column and doors ... The house has the ancient tile roof, dark brown walls and carved columns.

A system of garden lights is decorated around the club house. Each lamp is a work of art, with a different shape, pattern and glaze originating from the famous Phu Lang pottery. All these designs create an ancient and luxurious space for the club house. The Hon Chong club house is an attractive cultural destination for all visitors with a harmonious combination of natural landscape and human creation. In this place, they often introduce the images of the most beautiful bays in the world and promote the culture and tourism of Khanh Hoa province. When the visitors come to the Hon Chong landscapes in Nha Trang, they not only enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also understand more about the traditional wooden houses of the Vietnamese of this coastal, hospitable city.
